Why should children learn Polish in Zurich?
Those who learn Polish early not only acquire a rare and sought-after language skill but also train analytical thinking: Polish, with its seven cases and complex sound structures, sharpens language awareness in a way that strengthens the brain.
For Polish-speaking families in the Zurich area, our course also offers the opportunity to maintain their heritage language, so that children can grow up confidently and self-assuredly between two cultures.
During the summer holidays, we also offer numerous holiday courses for children aged 4 to 15.

Student review
I was worried that my daughter wouldn’t learn Polish properly. We then booked the Family Package and even got a discount. I was able to learn German at Wordculture and my daughter Polish. The teacher is a native speaker, patient, and knows how to inspire children. Zosia now sings Polish songs and writes messages to her grandmother in Warsaw. Thank you, Wordculture!

Frequently Asked Questions
At what age can my child learn Polish?
From 4 years old. We distinguish between 3 age groups: 4-6, 6-9, and 9-12 years, as this is the only way to provide age-appropriate instruction.
We already speak Polish at home; is a course still worthwhile?
Yes, absolutely. Many bilingual children speak Polish at home but have little contact with the written language. Our course gives them the foundation to understand, speak, and write Polish competently.
When does the Polish course take place?
All children’s courses can be flexibly booked from Monday to Saturday. The exact course times are flexible and depend on availability. Send us an inquiry and we’ll make your preferred time possible.
Is the course also available online?
Yes. Upon request, we offer all children’s courses in an online format.
My child goes to a Swiss school. Won't Polish be too much?
No. Experience shows that multilingual children develop a stronger language awareness and thereby also improve in German and English. The earlier you learn a foreign language, the better!
